The house
A very large estate on the hillside above Acapulco Bay, in the established residential district on the bay's eastern slopes. It covers about two and a half acres, of which nearly an acre is tropical garden threaded with a small river, rock pools and waterfalls, and almost every terrace looks straight out across the bay to the city and the hills beyond.
The house is a sequence of white, arched pavilions and long vaulted galleries stepping down the slope, with some 58,000 square feet under roof. A series of infinity pools with sculpted islands and palapa bars follows the terraces, and there are several open-air sitting and dining areas, including a long table for big dinners facing the sunset. Indoors there is a cinema, a billiards room, a private nightclub, a gym, a spa, a covered padel court and a professional kitchen. The thirteen bedrooms all have their own bathrooms; there are fifteen in all.
Staff include a house manager, a chef, waiters, housekeepers and gardeners. Round-trip airport transfers are included.
