The house
An old stone watchtower and four whitewashed guest houses spread through a large, steep private park on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, reaching from the road at the top down to the water. Terraced lemon and olive gardens, pergolas and bougainvillea fill the slope between the buildings, and electric golf carts move guests and luggage around the estate.
There is a seawater-blue pool with views to the islands, a lawn of loungers, and a rock platform at the bottom with steps into the sea for swimming. Vine-covered pergolas shelter outdoor dining tables and an outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and grill. The rooms are cool and simple, with vaulted ceilings, tiled floors, fireplaces and windows framing the coast; there is a small gym. Six bedrooms are distributed between the tower and the guest houses, each with its own bathroom.
A breakfast attendant comes from seven each morning. The chef cooks lunch and dinner and a butler serves at table, with Thursdays off; a housekeeper, a gardener and a pool attendant complete the household. Food and drink are charged on top.
