The Bazaruto Beach Villa
3 bedrooms · sleeps 6
Rates
On request
Whole house, household included.
The house
A thatched beach house on an island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, set about 150 metres along the sand from the small retreat it belongs to, with its own entrance and helipad. It faces west over the channel and the high dunes of the neighbouring island, so the afternoons and sunsets are the main event.
Three bedroom suites, each decorated differently, have their own indoor-outdoor bathrooms. The living spaces are open and arranged in layers: lounges and dining areas, a bar lounge, a media room and a roof terrace, opening onto sundecks, two shaded beachfront pavilions and a long infinity pool across the front of the house. A treehouse in the trees behind is kept for the villa's guests for the late-afternoon breeze.
The villa has its own butler-host and private chef, who cooks in the villa kitchen, largely seafood and Mozambican dishes from local produce. Diving, snorkelling with turtles and dolphins, island trips and evenings stargazing on the beach can be arranged.

In the house for the whole stay. Drivers, childcare and security are arranged on request.
