About Bleu de Nimes
A 72-metre explorer converted from a former Royal Navy degaussing ship, built by Clelands in 1980 as Lodestone and rebuilt over four years to 2020, when she was lengthened and reclassed as a new build. She takes up to 28 guests in thirteen cabins with a crew of about twenty-five, and has the range to reach remote reefs and islands.
The interiors are in an ocean-liner manner: American cherry panelling, iroko floors and black-veined marble, with rattan and antiques throughout. The owner's suite on the upper deck has its own office and dressing room, two VIP cabins are on the main deck, and the lower deck has doubles, triples and twins that suit families. A lift connects six levels, and there is a gym, sauna and massage room.
Up top are two side-by-side Jacuzzis and a bar, with a touch-and-go helipad. Four tenders, including a beach-landing boat and a fishing and dive tender, carry jet skis, kayaks, windsurfers, a Laser dinghy and scuba equipment. Her listings place her in the Seychelles, Maldives and Red Sea as well as the Mediterranean.
