About SuRi
A 63-metre steel expedition yacht, originally built by Halter Marine in 1978, converted to private use in 2007 and lengthened by ten metres in a 2012 rebuild, with a further refit in 2016. She takes twelve guests in seven cabins: a full-beam master suite on the main deck with his-and-hers bathrooms and an office, four VIP cabins, a double and a twin.
The main saloon sits on the bridge deck, opening onto a glass-walled aft room that can be closed in or left open to the air, with a skylounge above giving forward views. Below are a gym, a spa and massage room, a convertible children's or Pilates room and a media room with glass-bottom viewing windows. The sundeck has a Jacuzzi, sunpads and an outdoor dining table.
SuRi is built for remote cruising, with a range of about 10,000 miles, a helicopter pad and room for a seaplane. The tender fleet includes a 37-foot sportfishing and dive boat, a wakesurf boat and a Munson landing craft, with a large stock of toys. She cruises from Alaska and British Columbia to Central America, Chile and Antarctica, and is also offered as a shadow vessel.
